Bangkok, Thailand. A video caught by a CCTV was released by Thailand authorities showing the suspect of the bombing that results an explosion last 17 of August at the Erawan Shrine that cost the lives of 22 people and a hundred or more injured.
In CCTV footage, a man in a yellow tshirt has been seen sitting in a bench and while taking his bag off and purposely left without the backpack. After he left he was then noticed to be looking on a thing that looks like a smartphone while carrying another plastic bag in his hand.
LT. Gen Prawut Thavornsiri, police spokesperson said that ” very certain” that the said man in the video wearing a yellow tshirt is more likely the suspect with an initial investigation found out that the place where the man in yellow tshirt sat down is “precisely where the bomb exploded”. However the man’s identity has not been yet identified and the police officers has no idea yet of who the man is. But continuing investigation and initially they think the suspect used pipe bomb.
During the explosion about 22 were dead and around 120 or more were injured. Nationalities from China, Singapore, Malaysia, Hongkong, and one from Philippines were some of the fatalities recorded.
Thailand authorities are still continuing their investigation and looking for more clues to identify the said suspect.
Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha said “Today there is a suspect, we are looking for this guy,” .”We are looking for them now,”he added. He also said that”the blast was “worst ever attack”.
