Woman stung by Scorpion on a plane

A woman was stung by a scorpion in the hand before her flight took off from Los Angeles to Portland. Cole Cosgrove, Alaska Airlines spokesman said that  last Saturday night, Flight 567 was on the runway when one of the passenger was stung by a scorpion. After the incident, the plane immediately returned to the gate and checked the woman. The scorpion was killed by the flight attendant and at the same time checked baggage overhead compartments. The flight was delayed for an hour and took off at 8:40 pm.The woman who got stung didn’t went back on the plane and also she refused for an additional medical treatments offered. The flight was from Los Cabos, Mexico originally and based on the report there is no known evidence on how the scorpion got on the plane.

Wayne Tinkle, the Oregon State Coach was on the plane to and was sitting two rows behind the woman got stung. Mr Tinkle said ”

“The plane was coming from Mexico before us, and (the scorpion) was on the plane,” Mr Tinkle said.

“The woman was a real champ. She acted like it was a mosquito bite. They got it off her, but the needle was stuck.”
