In Melbourne, Dr. Alex Hodge a gastroenterologist has presented a research about this. There evidence growing that fasting from between 8 pm to midday may help in weigh loss. His study involves 32 patients divided in two groups. For the duration of 12 weeks, the first group skipped breakfast while the second group follows the standard normal diet and exercise. the result turns out to be the same about of weight but to those who skipped breakfast has decreased waist circumference. The result of the study also reveals that there is an improvement in visceral fats. Visceral fats are fats that wraps the inner organs. you know if you have visceral fats if you have a large waist or belly. the study also reveals an improvement in insulin resistance, blood pressure and liver damage.
