The company has expanded their business and entered the milk market industry and had found a new way to bring in more dollars. It’s own branded name milk product is set to launch in any time in USA and they are already predicting that it will bring “rain of money”for the company. Based on the The Guradians report the new milk product is named and labelled as Fairlife, Fairlife milk has 30 % less of sugar and 50 % more of protein compared to their other sugary drinks.
The Coca- cola chief of customer office Sandy Douglas said that the new milk product was “a milk that’s premiumised and tastes better and we’ll charge twice as much for it as the milk we’re used to buying”. He also said that Fairlife is a venture and joint with the other US dairy farmers using ““a proprietary milk filtering process that allows you to increase protein by 50%, take sugar down by 30%, and have no lactose.” The new product is about to be launch first in the US where they was saying that almost 50% of American adults does not drink milk then they are the lucky ones to try the new milk product of Coca Cola the Mlika-Cola based on the journal Dairy Today .The report received many positive and negative critics on social media like twitter.
